Jamaica: The Land of Reggae

Kingston is the capital. It is also the economic and cultural center of the island. There is a natural harbor and mountains. In Kingston, there are a number of historic buildings and a craft market. Ocho Rios is one of the cities most cruise ships dock at on Caribbean cruises. As in the other cities of Jamaica, you will find water sports and land activities to keep you busy. Hills surround the town. One of its most renowned attractions is Dunn's River Falls. The falls cascade down 180 meters of limestone steps onto the beach below. It is surrounded by a tropical rain forest. There are native guides to help you navigate the falls.

Horseback riding is another activity you may enjoy. You can also take a city bus to any of the markets. It is an interesting experience to ride along with the island inhabitants.
